New security features for DESFire readers: AES, alive message and continuous tamper
New security features have been added for the Idesco's DESFire readers. These new features include so-called "alive messaging",
with which reader sends out data to the control system every 1 minute to ensure it's functionality.
Also, a new tamper feature is introduced: User can configure reader so, that if the tamper is activated, a constant data stream is sent to the system.
Last, but definitely not least, DESFire readers are now also available with AES encryption.

New software features for reader keypad backlight control in Access 8 CDpin Quattro and Access 8 CDpin readers
Idesco has released a new software version for Access 8 CDpin Quattro and Access 8 CDpin Slim readers. This new software version brings a new feature, with which the keypad backlight of the reader can be a controller by changing the configurable parameter of the reader. The keypad backlight options are green/red for Quattro readers and blue for Slim readers. Interestingly, the backlights can also be used with readers, in which the pin function is disabled. Access 7 C readers available with FeliCa support

Changes in the 1K2402 B Microlog coin tags
1K2402 B Microlog coin tags have been updated. New 1K2402 B Microlog coin tags are made of white PVC, and their diameter is about 22 mm with thickness of 1,6 mm. Other properties of the tags remain the same. For more information, please contact support@idesco.fi.
