Does Automode work with RS485 ?
Yes. Notice that when any other command than the Automode command is sent to a reader, this will cancel the Automode. Hence the Automode command must be sent to a reader after any other command has been sent to it.
Can I put a tag to a metal surface? It seems that the reading distance will be shorter?
Some of Idesco products are assembled even to metal, but the reading distance is normally shorter in metal assembly than in open air.
