Idesco's latest product innovations at Ifsec 2005

Idesco presents at Ifsec Exhibition the latest products with many new features. The recent licence agreement with LEGIC®brings this high-end technology available with Idesco's state-of-the-art design readers and complements Idesco's already wide technology palette. LEGIC®technology will be available with Access Basic, Quattro, Rock and Woody models as well as with innovative Access Pin technology.

Also the new a new biometric reader for secure fingerprint identification applications will be presented at the show. The new flexible Access MFinger fingerprint reader with Mifare®sector reading technology has been launched in January.

The passive tag long distance UHF reader IR8000 is Idesco's new solution for vehicle identification. Access control for example on parking areas can be easily maintained by this long distance reader and a passive tag on the car's windscreen. Idesco's new windscreen tags are all passive with unlimited lifetime. The cost of a system using passive tag readers and transponders of this kind is significantly lower compared to active tag systems.

Idesco will also hold a seminar at Ifsec on May 19 2005. The seminar takes place in the Business Development Zone in Hall 6 at 12.00 - 12.30 . The target of the seminar is to give the participants an overview and deeper understanding of opportunities passive RFID Technology offers for applications with long-distance identification demands.
