Idesco eco20 family readers with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)

The Idesco eco20 DESFire readers have now an even higher level of security with the use of full Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) communication between the DESFire EV1 cards and the reader. Idesco is among the first RFID manufacturer to implement this high end security encryption. If an access card gets stolen or unauthorised copy of the access card has tried to been made, the AES algorithm is too hard to crack during a foreseeable time span. AES is also adaptable on an access card level and secures the whole chain of security system. AES can also be used to encrypt other communications in the organisation such as email and it is more secure and faster than Triple Data Encryption algorithm (Triple DES). With a highly encrypted AES access card, the customer has a fast access to office when the card is presented to the reader.

Idesco Access DESFire readers for high security solutions

Idesco provides Access DESFire readers for applications with very high security requirements. Access DESFire reader is an excellent choice for modern multi-applications with high requirements for both security and configurability. Access DESFire readers together with MIFARE DESFire identification cards improve security of access control solutions by enabling the use of very high level security Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Triple Data Encryption (Triple DES). By using configuration cards created by Idesco Access DEScoder, customers can define their own application AID and file numbers, file lengths and security AES or Triple DES keys. With the same Access DEScoder customers can also define which key(s) are used for the data file reading.

MIFARE DESFire technology enables the customer to build applications flexibly. The data length can be defined according to individual application demands. Access DESFire reader reads compatible application specific data from one selected application file of the MIFARE DESFire transponders. In the future the next level encryption method can be integrated and updated without physically changing the reader product. Access DESFire readers are available with a pin code keypad or without the keypad option.

Idesco provides high-security pin code access control products with MIFARE Classic, DESFire, LEGIC "Advant" and "Prime" technology.
