Idesco Introduces a New Line of Access Control Readers!
Idesco® is delighted to announce its launch of a new line of access control readers, Access 8 CD, Access 8 CD Pin, Access 8 CD Quattro, Access 8 CD Pin Quattro. Access 8 CD Slim and Access 8 CD Pin Slim.
The Access 8 CD line of readers profoundly improve security by enabling deployment of DES, triple DES or AES encryption together with MIFARE®’s DESFire identification cards. The Access 8 CD reader is an excellent choice for modern multi-applications requiring both high levels of security and superior customizability.
Indeed, the Idesco® Access 8 CD reader is supremely customizable, enabling customers to flexibly build their own applications. Access 8 CD products can read application-specific data from multiple applications and the files of MIFARE® DESFire cards. Alternatively, to maximize security, an Access 8 CD reader may be configured to read customized data strings assembled from different applications, from different data files and even from different data locations within a file.
Access 8 CD readers come in three operational modes: MIFARE® DESFire, MIFARE® Classic (1k and 4k) and a dual mode. Impressively, dual mode allows a reader to support the full functionality of both the MIFARE® Classic and MIFARE® DESFire simultaneously. This feature makes the Access 8 CD an ideal choice when anticipating future upgrades of MIFARE® Classic installations to MIFARE® DESFire.
